Afanador – National Ballet of Spain

The National Ballet of Spain returns to the Auditorium of Tenerife on the 5th and 6th of September with “Afanador”, the most acclaimed dance production of the year.

With artistic direction and choreography by Marcos Morau, “Afanador” is a production inspired by the photographs of flamenco taken by the Colombian artist Ruven Afanador. Thirty-nine dancers from the National Ballet of Spain take to the stage in a production that won 9 awards in 2024 and 2025, including 5 Max Awards. This marks the National Ballet of Spain’s first return to the Auditorium of Tenerife in 16 years. Recommended for ages 12 and over. Duration: 1 h 40 min.
