ARONA SHOW

Tarasca, a production by the Pieles Theatre Company, will be showing at the Infanta Leonor Auditorium in Los Cristianos, Arona, every Wednesday throughout October, featuring a performance inspired by the music and cultural heritage of the Canary Islands. 

Through the body, rhythms and knowledge of the subject matter, Tarasca revives gestures, sounds and memories linked to life on the islands. Divided into three acts —’El Hogar’ (The Home), ‘La Tierra’ (The Land) and ‘La Mar’ (The Sea)— the show transforms everyday elements and traditions linked to work, the land and the sea into a theatrical narrative about memory, identity and the Canarian cultural legacy.
