Óscar Domínguez. Cartas a Marcelle Ferry (Letters to Marcelle Ferry) will be on display from the 27th of March to the 18th of October 2026 at the TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The exhibition explores the passionate relationship between the Tenerife-born surrealist painter Óscar Domínguez and the writer Marcelle Ferry through their correspondence and some of his most significant works from the 1930s. The letters offer an insight into his role as a writer and activist, as well as the romantic, erotic, creative and political aspects of his work, which are particularly linked to his final trip to Tenerife in 1936.
