Procession of Adeje

See the procession in Adeje on the 18th of October. One of the most iconic traditions during the town’s patron saint festivities in honour of the Virgin of the Incarnation, Saint Ursula and Saint Sebastian.

The day begins with the traditional pilgrimage Mass at 11:00 h in the parish church of Santa Úrsula. From 13:00 h, the pilgrims, dressed in traditional costume, set off from the Plaza del Cerco and parade through the streets with bands and folk groups from different parts of the Canary Islands. The floats then make offerings of local produce, flowers and food, showcasing the people, music and culture of the Canary Islands.
