The Santa Cruz Extreme 2026 – Anaga Trail Marathon will be held on the 17th of October, with the start and finish at different locations within the municipality depending on the race category. The event takes place in the Anaga Rural Park, a Biosphere Reserve.
The competition has four categories: ANAGA XTRM 42K, 25K, 18K and 10K, to suit different levels and distance abilities. The 42K flagship event covers 42.8 kilometres with over 3,200 metres of cumulative elevation gain and sets off at 8:00 h from Las Teresitas Beach, passing through some of Anaga’s most iconic landscapes before reaching the finish line in Santa Cruz.
