Él. De las tinieblas a la luz

Él. De las tinieblas a la luz (He. From Darkness to Light) comes to Teatro Leal in La Laguna on 21 November. Inspired by the life and work of Mercedes Pinto, the production celebrates one of the leading voices in Canarian and Latin American culture.

Drawing on her autobiographical novel Él (Him), alongside a selection of her poetry and personal testimony, the production reimagines her work as a contemporary opera. Set to music by Laura Vega, it explores violence, resistance and freedom, and the power of writing to change lives and keep memories alive.
