Navaea is an ecotourism and environmental education company that conserves and shares the natural and cultural heritage of the Canary Islands. With Navaea, it becomes possible to explore, learn about and preserve Canarian natural and cultural heritage.
Navaea works to conserve nature and highlight the value of the Canary Islands’ natural and cultural heritage, with a special interest in their rich natural history. In all their activities, Navaea puts measures in place to make sure excursions are respectful of ecosystems, the lives of the people who live in the activity zones, and are supportive of local communities to foster a genuine exchange between visitors and residents.
They offer experiences in nature such as hiking trails, bird watching, ethnographic routes and nature walks. Small groups are always offered, and sensitivity and awareness of possible environmental impact is highlighted in order to minimise effects on the surroundings. Each experience is designed for participants to respectfully discover and learn about the natural and cultural richness of the islands.
The company’s objective is to promote knowledge, respect and connection with the territory and local communities. They offer tours in Spanish, English and German and have transportation.
