Ribbon Poles in San Isidro and the Mint Tea Pilgrimage

Icod de los Vinos is home to a variety of festive celebrations throughout the year. Prominent among them is the San Isidro Pilgrimage in early June, when attendants revel in the jolly atmosphere of Canarian tradition. One of the main attractions of this festival takes place in the neighbourhood of La Mancha: the night of the magis' dance, when pilgrims carrying traditional poles head towards the saint's chapel. It's an unforgettable experience.
