Casa Rural Alenes del Mar

Los Alenes del Mar, located beside the sea in Las Aguas (San Juan de la Rambla), is a noble 18th Century house which offers the perfect balance between tradition and comfort as it has all the amenities and services of the 21st Century.

The house was refurbished in 2010 respecting the original layout of the building which is subject to the rules for the protection of the Historical Heritage due to its characteristics and as it is located on the Royal Road which led to Garachico along the coast.

There are 160 M2 of living space on two floors: a large living-cum-dining-room with a Hispano-Arabic mudejar ceiling, two double bedrooms and two individual ones, two bathrooms and a fully-fitted kitchen, all of which conserves the traditional techniques and original building materials: Canarian pine, quarried stone, adobe and hipped roofs.

There are striking views over the sea from a garden terrace and two terraces with views over the countryside planted with tropical fruits: bananas, oranges, avocados, mangos, peaches, papaya, coffee trees, cocoa, etc.
