Guitar player Yul Ballesteros will be part of the International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC), as he will present his latest musical project, Islazz, as part of Festival en paralelo, FIMC’s special side programme.
Ballesteros will come on stage with an ensemble that is somewhere between a big band and a string quartet. Islazz pays tribute to the Canary Islands – each island being a little continent with its own smells and flavours, landscapes and people. It is a musical journey across the region, connecting the audience to the various aspects of Canarian life.
