When: From 28 January to 27 March
Where: Magma Art and Conference Centre, Costa Adeje
The successful exhibition showcasing human bodies - one of the most visited in history - is coming to Costa Adeje, after having been on display in more than 18 countries, gathering about 30 million visitors. In an exhibition area of 800 square metres, Bodies displays the different body systems. The bodies and organs exhibited have been preserved through plastination, a method used to preserve anatomical specimens where all bodily fluids are replaced with certain plastics.
The educational itinerary starts at the skeletal system and more layers - muscular, nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urinary and reproductive systems - are added in successive rooms.
