Estrella Morente

Flamenco singer Estrella Morente is performing for the first time in the context of Festival Mar Abierto, returning to Tenerife for the first time since 2012. After a long hiatus, now Morente is back with a new album, Copla, a project she began to work on with her father Enrique Morente and has brought to full expression now.

With a long career punctuated by achievements and accolades, Estrella Morente, born in Granada, is a fine composer on top of being a singer. Her songs are fine blends of old rhythms and the latest trends.
