17th Gospel Fest of the Canary Islands – Bazil Meade

In the context of the Gospel Fest of the Canary Islands, the Guimerá Theatre is hosting a concert bringing together septuagenarian Bazil Meade, pioneering founder of the London Community Gospel Choir, and Ezequiel Barrios, the young conductor of the Canarias Gospel Choir.

Together, they will make a show in which the essence of gospel music will be revealed in a fresh, top-quality performance. Reverend Meade is a singer, pianist and conductor. He has travelled the world with some of the greatest international musical artists for the past fifty years, bringing gospel to audiences and festivals around the globe. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of contemporary gospel in Europe.
