The Costa Martiánez Resort in Puerto de la Cruz is playing host to the 1st MARLICE Conference, an international, multi-sector cooperation forum aimed at aligning strategies for waste-free oceans.
The two-day conference will include a series of activities to discuss such topics as island governance, island tourism, waste management in islands, citizen science and the impact of waste on ecosystems. There will be several keynote speakers to talk about these and other key issues.
