A masterwork in the classical ballet canon is coming to the Infanta Leonor Auditorium: Giselle, by the International Ballet Company, featuring dancers from Moldova, Ukraine, Italy and other countries.
This performance, starring Cristina Terentiev and Alexandru Balan, is part of the Company’s 2023 Spring Tour. Giselle tells the tragic, romantic story of a beautiful peasant girl named Giselle who dies of a broken heart. After her death, she is summoned from her grave into the sisterhood of the Willis, the ghosts of unmarried women.
