Lo que pesa una cabeza (The Weight of a Head)

The Tenerife Arts Space (TEA) is staging an exhibition to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the International Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition, held in 1973. The exhibition tracks the evolution of sculpture over the past fifty years.

The focus of the exhibition is not a historical overview of the art of sculpture, but rather an exploration of the role it plays as the setting of new forms of art. Lo que pesa una cabeza includes works by David Bestué, Juan Bordes, Tony Cruz Pabón, Victoria Encinas, Petrit Halilaj and Sarah Maldoror, among other artists.
