Easter in Tenerife 2024

Once again this year, many different towns in the island of Tenerife, including Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna, La Orotava, Arona, Icod de los Vinos, El Sauzal and Güímar, are showing their religious feeling and devotion in Easter.

There will be traditional processions, organised and led by confraternities, and other religious activities that are part of the Catholic Easter programme. In towns like Candelaria, Güímar and Adeje, the Stations of the Cross devotion is worth seeing. In most towns, Easter celebrations begin on Palm Sunday and end on Easter Sunday.
