FINA Women’s Water Polo World League Super Final 2022

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is playing host to the 18^th FINA Women’s Water Polo World League Super Final, having hosted the FINA Women’s Water Polo World League Europe Final in April. What makes this event really exciting is that Spain won the 2022 Women’s European Water Polo Championship in Split, Croatia, last summer.

The Super Final in Tenerife will see the best women’s water polo teams in the world: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, USA (reigning champion) and, of course, Spain (host). The United States will be looking to extend their dominance in international play, where they will be playing for their eighth consecutive Women’s Super Final – and fifteenth overall – event title.
