From 8 to 10 June, Tenerife is playing host to a new Tenerife Bluetrail, the highest trail run in Spain and the second highest in Europe. Although the Ultra mode is the star race, Tenerife Bluetrail is an inclusive event, which means there are runs for amateurs, children, seniors and people with functional diversity. They can all be part of the racing event and enjoy the island’s wonderful trails!
Tenerife Bluetrail is a unique trail run in Europe, designed to reach 3500 metres above sea level. Racers can choose from ten different racing modes, all of them giving the chance to run amidst boulders and volcanic cones, climb the rocks of malpais and taking a break at the summit of Mount Teide to soak up the island’s landscapes. On their way down, runners skirt pine groves and laurel forests to reach the seaside trails on the north coast.
