Bonadea II has been taking passengers for sightseeing and whale-watching
boat trips for over twenty-five years. It is our objective to show our
customers whales and dolphins in their natural habitat and to satisfy them
with a stupendous cruise off the southern coast of Tenerife. We have a
highly qualified crew who are well-versed in handling watercraft and
viewing whales and dolphins.
The catamaran Bonadea II has a licence to sail with twenty-two passengers
plus crew. It holds the "Barco Azul" flag, indicating that it is authorised
by the Regional Ministry of Tourism of the Canary Islands Government for
the activity of whale-watching. It also has an authorisation from the
Ministry of the Environment for the observation of whales and dolphins, and
has signed the quality charter of the Tenerife Tourist Authority.
The crew also cleans the oceans by collecting marine refuse (plastics), and
participates with the La Tahonilla wild fauna recovery centre of the
Tenerife Island Government by rescuing marine fauna in difficulty.
The new craft, Diomedea, is a semi-rigid, highly-mobile boat of seven
metres in length and 2.5 metres' width, with seats for six occupants and a
small solarium at the bow. It is devoted to the viewing of whales, dolphins
and wild birds, the protection of the marine environment, research projects
and the fight against plastic waste.
It offers a private Ecological Tour at an hourly rate, ideal for families
or groups who want to discover the ocean and enjoy an experience in a
respectful manner getting to see the marine environment right up close. It
is perfect for nature photographers, researchers and a range of projects.
Diomedea offers the opportunity to make totally tailor-made private
excursions.
