Pirámides de Güímar Botanical Garden
Pirámides de Güímar, a member of the Ibero-Macronesian Association of Botanical Gardens, spans 30,000m2 of specialist gardens laid in collaboration with the University of La Laguna, following scientific objectives of conservation and education.
The Poisonous Garden particularly stands out, with toxic, and sometime even mortal, plants for human beings, taking us into the dark world of poisoners. The Sustainable Garden, which recreates the flora and fauna of a Canary Island ravine is a model of sustainability and conservation of the natural heritage. The Tropicarium houses flora from tropical regions, such as orchids and insectivorous plants. The Wolfredo Wildpret Botanical Route and the Exports Route display the flora of the islands via an open-air route.
Visiting times: Every day from 10 am to 6 pm.
Closed on: 1 January and 25 December.
