Beñesmen, Guanche Pilgrimage

This traditional event is held in the La Vera "tagoror" (the place where the Island's aboriginal people would meet) in the municipality of San Juan de la Rambla. The Guanche pilgrimage of “El Beñesmen” is one of the most spectacular renditions of aboriginal culture, and takes place in the month of May.
