Setting off from here is a paved track heading quite steeply uphill across the areas of La Sabina Seca and Los Lomitos Blancos. As you walk on up this track, you will be able to see the rail tracks of the La Fife mine, with the shed and slag heap nearby. Roughly 1 km (0.62 miles) further up, you will have to cross the TF-38 road, so please take care. Your ascent continues through the pine trees for another 500 or so yards, where a right turn at the crossing would take you to the PR-TF 69.1 Chiguergue - Chasogo trail. Instead, turn left and walk on through the woods to the Los Arenales Recreation Area, where your journey ends. Hypsometry For your own safety, don't forget to check the condition of the trail.
