El Porís Beach

If you like spending your time on a fabulous beach with a genuine fishing feel to it, prepare to be instantly taken in by the charm of El Porís, in Arico. The area is sheltered by a stretch of headland that was once used as a launch area by fishermen. Nowadays, it is still used for anchoring and is fully equipped with a promenade and accommodation.

You can access the beach by car, on foot or on public transport. There is an area where people go to surf, and if you like scuba diving the ocean floor is spectacular.
