Casa del Vino

Located in El Sauzal, in an old Canarian hacienda from the seventeenth century, Casa del Vino is a unique space dedicated to the promotion of Tenerife's wines and local products. It is owned by the Cabildo de Tenerife and is managed by the Tenerife Rural Foundation.

Inside, it houses numerous spaces of interest such as the Island Museum of Vine and Wine, the Honey Museum, the Tenerife Agrobiodiversity Interpretation Centre, the Room of Medianeros (the estate’s resident workers) and the Chapel of San Simón. In addition, it offers a tour of the vineyard garden and the garden of native plants and has a traditional wine press in its central courtyard.

La Casa del Vino also has a tasting room where it is possible to taste wines from the five Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) of Tenerife and the PDO Canary Islands, accompanied by local products such as honey, cheeses, roast leg or mojos (Canarian sauces). These products can also be purchased in their shop, which has the largest selection of Tenerife wines in the world. The complex includes a restaurant and several rooms available for meetings and events.
