Valle de Güímar Regional Winery

The Valle de Güímar Regional Winery produces its wines under the brands Brumas de Ayosa and Pico Cho Marcial. Since its founding, the winery has earned numerous regional, national and international recognitions. It is a benchmark in white wines, especially for its fruity Brumas de Ayosa wine (blue bottle).

The winery is located near the town of Arafo, on the road up to Mount Teide. Around the estate sit nature, agricultural landscapes and silence, in an area that offers the finest views of the Güímar Valley.

The winery was born in 1989 from the union of 15 winegrowers who were convinced that working together was the way to produce high-quality wines. Today there are 152 winegrowers who put great effort, labour and care year-round into cultivating their vineyards. The fields are planted in volcanic soil at altitudes between 300 and 1500 metres (one of the highest altitudes for a vineyard in Spain). The areas are difficult to access, too rugged for agricultural machinery, and have no irrigation water. Tending these crops is an amazing example of heroic viticulture.
