The church of San Pedro Apóstol
In 2005, this church dedicated to the municipality's patron saint was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. Work to build it began in the 16th century. The main construction work, however, dates from after the 18th century. The layout is the typical Latin Cross, with a rectangular sacristy. The church houses one of Tenerife's oldest baptismal fonts, made of marble. The walls are adorned with rich altarpieces and paintings from the 17th and 18th century, such as Las Ánimas on the right-hand side of the chapel which has been kept in very good condition.
