The Chapel of Santa Catalina

This chapel on Calle Real was built in 1510 and then rebuilt in 1878 after a storm damaged its structure. Though small and scarcely decorated on the outside, its bell tower and large doorway with a Roman arch are a worthy sight. Inside, the chapel features an ornate coffered ceiling and figures of Santa Catalina Mártir, San Juan Bautista and San Bartolomé. The square near the chapel is home to one of the few cedar trees that are known to date from over a hundred years ago.
