Casa del Prebendado Pacheco

This house was initially the home of friar Pacheco and later became the first public school in Tegueste in 1849. Prebendado Antonio Pereira Pacheco y Ruiz was the parish priest of Tegueste from 1842 to 1856, and played a significant role in improving the town's socio-economic situation. In addition to founding the first school, he took part in the construction of the town hall and encouraged the creation of the town's cemetery. The house is currently used as an exhibition hall.
